Ethical Hacker Pankaj Thakur has discovered the remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the Microsoft Edge browser.

A young man in Nepal has discovered a serious security flaw in Microsoft Edge. Pankaj Thakur, a 23-year-old researcher and ethical hacker, has discovered the remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the Microsoft Edge browser.

After three hours of continuous effort, he was able to detect significant bugs in the RCE Vulnerability of the render process in the Edge browser.

Edge Browser is usually used on Windows. Under this I was able to access the Windows system event log (cell). I accessed someone's cell and gave the command, the result of which began to appear on my screen.

"I reported that hackers could gain access to any data saved in the Edge browser," he said. The company has decided to provide  40,000 for the bug under the Edge Chromium Bounty program. More interested in RCE, he discovered that this important and serious bug has given him many rewards in his bounty career so far. Earlier, he had received the highest reward of  $20,000 dollor from a company in the Netherlands.

Thakur, who returned to Nepal from Hyderabad with a bachelor's degree in cyber security, has so far been able to break the data of companies and clients by discovering the viability of Microsoft as well as technology companies like Google, Apple, big media like BBC and the world's most expensive car maker BMW.
