Microsoft is launching Windows 11 on more PCs this week. Following the initial launch of the new PCs earlier this month, Microsoft is gradually makin
g free Windows 11 upgrades available on existing and compatible devices.

"Windows 11 availability has been enhanced and we are using our latest machine learning model to provide improvements to an extended set of compatible devices," Microsoft said. "We will continue to train our machine learning model in all stages of production to bring a sense of smooth development."

If you were expecting a Windows 11 upgrade to appear in Windows Update, you may receive the above information this week. Undoubtedly, we have been given upgrades on a variety of devices today, including a custom gaming PC.

Microsoft does not provide a list of devices currently offered for Windows 11 upgrade, but you will only be able to get updates through Windows Update if your PC meets a minimum system requirements. If you still do not see the information and want to cross the line, Microsoft offers an easy way to improve early.

There are also ways to install Windows 11 on unsupported CPUs, too. Microsoft does not recommend it and you may not receive security updates in the future, but the process is much simpler without re-installing Windows.
